Graphic tee websites mostly work in one of four ways. Daily-drop sites put a few new designs on sale for a short window at a lower price. Artist marketplaces host uploaded designs with no set end date. Own-catalog brands sell a standing range of their own designs. Licensed stores sell official merch for the franchises you love. The best site for you depends on what you want: something new and limited, the widest choice, a house style, or the official logo.
We compared 13 graphic tee websites on how designs are sold, the price of a standard tee, sizes and licensed merch. We are RIPT, so we put ourselves first. Everything said about the other sites comes from their own pages, checked on 16 October 2026. Hot Topic and BoxLunch block automated visits, so their details come from archived copies of their own pages, saved between August and mid October 2026. Prices change with sales, so treat them as a guide.

1. RIPT Apparel: best for daily pop culture drops
RIPT puts three new designs from independent artists on sale every day, each $8 off for its first 24 hours. A men's tee is $14.95 on drop day instead of $22.95. The next day, those designs get one final window in Last Call at $3 off. Alongside the daily drops, RIPT keeps a standing range, including Best Sellers and Trending designs, which you can also browse in Shop by Fandom.
- Sizes: the men's basic tee runs S to 6XL. The premium tee has a shorter size range and runs small, so check the size chart.
- Artists: artists earn a 10% royalty on each item sold with their design. Anyone can submit a design.
- Made to order: every shirt is printed in the USA after you order it.
- Returns: new, unworn and unwashed items within 30 days of delivery, for a full refund or a free exchange; you pay the return postage.
RIPT launched its daily drops in 2009. It suits fans who like checking in for something new and would rather not see the same shirt on everyone else. The trade-off is that the daily discount lasts 24 hours.
2. TeePublic: best for a huge choice of fan art
TeePublic is an open marketplace. Any artist can upload designs and open a store, and every order is printed on demand. Designs have no sale window, so they stay in the artist's store.
- Price: a classic tee is $24 at the regular price. Sales are frequent; it was $16 on 16 October.
- Sizes: S to 5XL on the classic tee.
- Licensed art: mostly independent and fan-inspired designs, plus an official Fan Art Program for a short list of partner brands.
- Artists: a fixed amount per sale, for example $4 on a regular-price classic tee for its higher artist tier.
TeePublic is owned by Articore, the company that also owns Redbubble. Compare it in more detail: RIPT Apparel vs TeePublic and the best TeePublic alternatives.
3. Redbubble: best for browsing designs across many products
Redbubble was founded in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. Like TeePublic, it is an open marketplace. Artists open a free shop and upload art, and Redbubble has each order printed and shipped by its production partners.
- Price: each artist sets their own markup on top of a $20 base price for a classic tee shipped to the US, so prices vary.
- Sizes: S to 5XL on the classic tee.
- Licensed art: mostly independent designs, plus an official Partner Program for licensed fan art from participating brands.
Because prices are set artist by artist, check the price on the design you want before you settle on Redbubble. Our RIPT Apparel vs Redbubble comparison goes further.
4. Threadless: best for original art
Threadless began in Chicago in 2000 as a t-shirt company. Today anyone can open an artist shop, and Threadless picks which shop designs go into its main catalog. Design challenges with community voting still exist, but they are now one route in, not the only one.
- Price: a sale was on when we checked, with a men's classic tee at $13.95, listed against $22.95.
- Sizes: S to 5XL on the men's classic tee.
- Licensed art: artist shops do not allow designs that use other companies' characters, so expect original art rather than fan art.
- Artists: a fixed 10% royalty on sales in the Threadless catalog.
Threadless tends to skew more artistic than reference-heavy. If you want subtle nods rather than a character front and centre, start here.
5. TeeFury: best for a cheap daily parody tee
TeeFury has run since 2008. A new design goes on sale every day at $13 for 24 hours, with a weekly batch at $18. After that, designs move into the TeeFury gallery at the regular price.
- Price: $13 on the design's day, $24 for a men's basic tee after that.
- Sizes: the men's basic tee runs S to 3XL; the heavyweight and unisex tees go to 5XL.
- Style: fan-inspired parody art from independent artists.

6. Qwertee: best for screen-printed limited runs
Qwertee is an Irish company. Its community votes on artist designs, and the winners go on sale for 24 hours at the launch price. They then get a final 24 hours as a "last chance" tee. After that, a design is usually gone; only the most popular move to the permanent Tee Shop.
- Price: $15 for the first day, $17 on the last-chance day and $21 in the Tee Shop. The site may show euros first, but it can switch to US dollars.
- Sizes: men's S to 3XL, women's S to XXL.
- Artists: 1 euro, or the dollar equivalent, per shirt sold.
More detail: RIPT Apparel vs Qwertee.
7. The Yetee: best for gaming art
The Yetee launched in 2011 and prints in Aurora, Illinois. It releases two new artist-designed daily tees every day, usually on sale for 24 hours. Some recent ones come back in a "missed yesterday's designs" section at $22.
- Price: $20 for a daily tee in every size from S to 5XL.
- Licensed merch: its standing shop, the Yeteemart, carries official collections such as Street Fighter, Monster Hunter and Stardew Valley. Yeteemart prices differ from the daily tee; one Yeteemart tee we checked was $32.
- Artists: $2.25 per shirt sold.
More detail: RIPT Apparel vs The Yetee.
8. Shirt.Woot: best for free shipping
Shirt.Woot belongs to Woot, the daily deals site founded in 2004 and bought by Amazon in 2010. A new featured design takes the front page most days at $15, and some days run a themed event instead. A weekly contest lets shoppers vote for designs. After their day, designs join a permanent catalog.
- Price: $15 on a design's featured day, $19 in the catalog, with free standard shipping.
- Sizes: men's and women's S to 3XL.
9. Once Upon a Tee: best for big and tall sizes
Once Upon a Tee launches a new collection every Monday that sells for one week. It also runs a daily featured design and a standing catalog called the Vault. All its apparel is printed, packed and shipped in Tempe, Arizona.
- Price: $18 for a men's tee during its week, $26.99 for Vault designs.
- Sizes: the men's tee runs S to 6XL, plus tall sizes from XLT to 4XLT.
More detail: RIPT Apparel vs Once Upon a Tee.
10. BustedTees: best for pun and parody tees
BustedTees calls itself a family-owned company based in Michigan. Some designs are made in-house; others come from artists, and BustedTees approves each one. Every shirt is printed when ordered.
- Price: $32.99 for a classic tee in S to XL, more for 2XL and up.
- Sizes: S to 5XL.
- Artists: a 10% commission on every item sold.
More detail: RIPT Apparel vs BustedTees.
11. SnorgTees: best for funny tees at one price
SnorgTees started in 2004 in its founders' basement. Most designs come from its own team, and more than a quarter start as ideas sent in by customers. The catalog mixes pop culture parody with plain silly humor, and older designs are still on sale.
- Price: $22 for a men's classic tee in every size.
- Sizes: S to 5XL, though some designs stop at 3XL.
Looking for sites like SnorgTees? BustedTees and TeeTurtle are the closest matches on this list.
12. TeeTurtle: best for cute and nerdy designs
TeeTurtle sells designs by its own in-house artists alongside licensed collections such as Coraline, Justice League and Adventure Time. We found no timed drops; designs sit in a standing catalog, and some are retired through a Final Clearance sale.
- Price: $20 for the classic cotton tee in S to XL, $25 for the premium tee.
- Sizes: S to 3XL on the classic tee.
- Guarantee: within 90 days of getting your order, you can ask TeeTurtle to replace apparel that is damaged, does not fit or does not look as hoped, by sending photos through its returns portal. Final Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged.
13. Hot Topic and BoxLunch: best for official franchise merch
Hot Topic has over 600 stores in the US and Canada. It sells officially licensed pop culture and band merch, alongside its own fashion lines. The licensed tees we checked ran $24.90 to $26.90 before promotions and went up to 3X, though the Hot Topic size guide runs to 4X.
Its sister store BoxLunch, also owned by Hot Topic, Inc., sells licensed and non-licensed merch; the licensed tees we checked were $29.90. For every $10 spent, it helps provide a meal through Feeding America.
Choose a licensed store when you want the official artwork. Choose an artist site when you want an original take on the same fandom.
Daily drops, marketplaces or licensed stores: how they differ
Daily-drop sites (RIPT Apparel, TeeFury, Qwertee, The Yetee, Shirt.Woot, Once Upon a Tee) release a few designs at a time at a lower launch price. Several sell earlier designs afterwards at a higher price, but each site handles this differently, so check before you wait.
Artist marketplaces (TeePublic, Redbubble, Threadless) host designs uploaded by independent artists, printed on demand. Choice is enormous and there is no set sale window, but nothing is limited.
Own-catalog brands (BustedTees, SnorgTees, TeeTurtle) keep a standing range in a consistent style. Licensed stores (Hot Topic, BoxLunch) sell official franchise artwork rather than artist interpretations.

Which graphic tee sites carry plus sizes?
Size ranges differ more than most shoppers expect. These are the largest sizes on each site's standard adult tee:
- Up to 6XL: RIPT Apparel and Once Upon a Tee, which also sells tall sizes.
- Up to 5XL: TeePublic, Redbubble, Threadless, TeeFury (heavyweight and unisex tees), The Yetee, BustedTees and SnorgTees (some SnorgTees designs stop at 3XL).
- Up to 4X: Hot Topic, on some tees; most licensed tees we checked stopped at 3X.
- Up to 3XL: Qwertee, Shirt.Woot, TeeTurtle and BoxLunch.
Fit varies by garment as well as by site, so compare the chest measurement on the size chart, not just the label. Our guide on how to choose a graphic tee covers fit in more detail.

- You need a 4XL or bigger: RIPT Apparel or Once Upon a Tee for 6XL, or one of the 5XL sites above.
