Love the TARDIS addition there.

if the galactica was there instead of the star destroyer, i’d have bought it. i cant see the word dradis and not think of bsg

I don’t understand the concept of this shirt. But I do like the TARDIS.

“dradis” is what radar is called in the battlestar galactica universe. the design is of the dradis (radar) screen. the joke is that galactica is picking up signals of ships that don’t belong in the BSG universe.

Cheers. Explained it better than I could have. I’ve been visiting this site for a while and love the idea things happen here. I’ve got my thinking cap on and I’m looking to the marvel universe for my next one.

I only wish you also included Serenity as well.

I did consider Serenity over the Star Destroyer. It’s got legs as a future project here anyway. There’s some dark humour somewhere in the pain it was cut short I’m sure.

Serenity would have technically not been able to be included. It was in the very first episode of BSG for a few seconds as a nod to the special effects team. That being the case it’s ‘technically’ in that universe so shouldn’t be shown ;)

Any slight chance of a reprint without the labels and with a more interesting variety of ships? There’s the distinctive shapes of the Red Dwarf, Liberator, Lex, Moya, Thunderbird 3 or an aforementioed Battlestar etc etc etc all of which would be more visualy interesting than the potato falcan and a triangle.

The USS Enterprise was also in the first episode for a few seconds. The few seconds with the USS Enterprise in it was used in the into – so it can be seen in every episode of BSG.

Really disappointed to miss the shirt to bad timing! Looking forward to more…

Hands down, great work! But I have to critique as well. In a fair and balanced multiverse, two icons from the Star Wars series throws everything a bit off. Or at least implies favoritism for all things jedi. Surely there’s a plethora of scifi classics to draw upon. Pun intended. Firefly would be a favorite, but I have to agree with the purist above. 2001′s Jupiter or Monolith? Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’s Heart of Gold? Forbidden Planet’s, er, saucer-thingy?
Work it up and I’ll put my money where my mouth is.

Such a fun idea! I really like it except it seems to spell out the punchline too easily. I’d buy it if it only had the image of the Tardis without the description in red under it, and none of the other ships – it seems a little busy. It would seem “clever” and people who got it would feel like they belonged in a select group, making them more apt to buy it to show off that knowledge. he he

You have to add atleast ONE Cylon Basestar – just to make it authentic…

My vote is to have the melnum falcon covering serenity as it trys to escape from a Dalek – meanwhile the enterprise is holding off a basestar as xwings go in for a strike on a borg Cube.

Actually, the only ship that’s absolutely anachronistic here is the Enterprise. Star Wars… “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…”, etc. The tardis is perfect as The timelords can travel to any point in space and time (I’d actually joked if they wanted rid the Deus ex machina plot line regarding Starbuck, they could’ve added the familiar sound of the tardis with its brakes left on… hell an already freaked Starbuck meeting The Doctor could’ve made for a disturbingly good story line… as long as she didn’t waste his last regenerations with rounds from her sidearm), but I digress.

Yeah, the NCC-1701 is the only ship completely out of place.

I first thought that the “dis” in Dradis stood for “disposition,” as in is the contact’s disposition that of friend or foe? This is because “range” and “distance” are synonyms, and using them together is redundant. Why be redundant?
