I’m a Canadian living in the South of the United States. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, but at some point I decided that it would be fun to make my art into more than a hobby. I still have a boring day job, but take freelance work for art when I can get it. I’m also trained as an animator.
This design was inspired by a friend who makes interesting sculptural pieces out of old pocket watches. It planted the seed of an idea, and the result was this steampunk-themed clockwork heart. At some point I’d like to make a sculptural version of the heart itself.

pretty sweet design,i wish the background cogs had as much detail as the heart, or atleast some more value. on the plus side it’s very effective and id hav to agree with BDParmer. good job!
