Hey I’m Matt Borchert and my world has become about everything tee shirt. I’ve been working full time as an apparel designer for about a year now and have been loving it, and am always improving in the craft and pushing my way forward.
This shirt was inspired by one of my favorite movies of all time, The Usual Suspects, and is based on elements of the ending that made this movie so famous. I do hope you enjoy this, and even if other people seeing you wear the shirt and have never seen the movie, they may just assume you to be a fan of fine dinnerware. You can check out more of my work online at http://www.mattborchert.com Thanks!

Oh and, I’m loving the snowing effect on the site, rock on RIPT!! :D

@universalcode, it was a joke! haha, you know? like in the movie everyone asks “who is Keyser Söze?” oh man, I just realized how lame is to explain jokes on a comment post haha.
BTW, congrats on the print Matt, I’m a fan :D

This design is stupid. It’s so on the nose with its mentioning of Keyzer Söze, defeats the purpose of it being a clever cultural reference. Not feeling the typeface eitehr.

I wasn’t aware of the other shirt, and I agree it’s cool, but I don’t speak any foreign languages so I wouldn’t feel comfortable in using characters what I simply cannot verify.
As far as using the name of Keyser or not it could go either way, I don’t think it completely defeats the purpose of the shirt, plus the use of the words “fine china” reference another section of the movie.
To each their own!
Brandon
Good idea! Although I would have made fewer direct references. It is definitely NOT stupid whatsoever.
