New Jersey based artist / illustrator Joel Rose, (Drakxxx) has been involved in t-shirt designs featuring his original illustrations for about a year now. Usually acclaimed for the dark and macarbe, Almost Dawn depicts bloodsucking fiends of the night just in time for the upcoming Halloween holiday.

I’m so glad this finally got printed. When I came to Joel with this concept, I knew it would come out awesome, but this surpassed even my expectations. Well done, and a well deserved print!
@With a 3 – it IS a vampire shirt. But it definitely conveys the zombie feel as well. The scrambling for the door, the collective grabbing and pulling away from his exit… remove the few fangs and make their faces a little more vapid and it may as well be a zombie design as well. But I’m still glad you approve of it being here!

@JadenKale – You’re right. At first glance I thought it was a zombie shirt too. It does have that look too it. The initial confusion is probably also partially due to the fact that you don’t normally see vampires ganging up on one person in a craze, which makes this design all the more awesome.
Fantastic work! I have several of your shirts from other sites (the freaky-ass scarecrow shirt was a big hit at work).
PS – I hope that more of the stuff from your DeviantArt page that might not have made it to other sites makes it here…Some genius work there!

Just an FYI, the print for the womens tees will not be oversized due to the size of the those shirts. The screen just won’t fit all the art one those little ones!

I’ve never purchased a Ript tee before, and I noticed they’re printd on Tultex.
I’ve heard that Tultex fits very similairly to American Apparel.
Is this true??

Yeah the sizes are practically the same. Tultex fabric is a little softer and lighter.
Not a fan of this one..It’s drawn okay, but I don’t really like the placement.
