I was born in the Philippines, grew up in Colorado, and have lived in California for most of my life. My earliest memory is drawing. I was likely inspired by my dad who was an oil painter. Dozens of artists inspire me today. A few of them include Mike Mignola, Alphonse Mucha, Drew Struzan, Dean Cornwell, and Sergio Toppi.
I’ve always been interested in any kind of mash-up or remix and when the idea popped into my head of smashing two iconic Freddies together, I had to draw it.
