Thanks for the kind comments. I had the idea for this shirt one foggy morning looking at the city from my roof. This is sort of the actual view from there, notice how the Hancock building is skinnier than normally depicted, plus the towers are in perspective. Same with my view of the sears… ehem, Willis Tower.
As someone who just moved to Chicago a month ago, I am totally buying this shirt! I’m going to wear it back in San Diego when I visit so everyone can be jealous of my Chicago-ness.
This tee is meant to be the first in a series of “City in the Sky” tee shirt designs. Who knows what city you might find floating in the clouds near you?
The title of this tee was obviously meant to be a play on the nickname “chi-town” but make it “sky-town.” I went nuts and tried a crazy spelling. You’ll have to let me know if I’m out of my mind or not.
