Matt Hawkins is a papertoy artist, illustrator, cartoonist and a incessant doodler living in Kansas City.
He shares his work and offers free papertoys to download and build at his site www.custompapertoys.com.
His work has been shown in art galleries and exhibitions from LA to Amsterdam to Tokyo. Matt’s papertoys and paper sculpture illustration have been featured in many books and magazines. Matt is the author of Urban Paper a book that features the worlds best papertoy artist.

I was doodling with a Sharpie at work and was drawing a duck head when I heard someone yell “This place is such a Cluster F#*K!” So I drew on a couple of more heads and Cluster Duck was born.

love the shirt with the title. puns are awesome. only one thing… if i didn’t know the name, i wouldn’t get the joke. and it’s probably not an image i’d wear around town

Thanks for the comment.I’ve actually got several comments on my facebook about the title being on the shirt from several folks now. I did 2 versions one with words and one without and in the end went with this version. Visually I thought it had more punch without words and with the pun it seemed a little to much like a “truck stop” shirt and borderline inappropriate for some folks and situations. This way the wearer has an inside joke they can share if they want. This is my first Tee design in a long time so I value any comments, thanks.

The illustration is what matters, not the title. We always prefer imagery that doesn’t need text on it. This style is crisp and bold.
