I’m a freelance artist and illustrator who entered the world of shirt design a little over a year ago. Before that I was working mostly with logos and ads, but I have to say, I like what I’m doing now better than anything I’ve tried before. Designing shirts gives me the chance to be as creative as I want, which is really rewarding and basically awesome.
I’d been meaning to design something with dinosaurs for a long time, because they’re rad, and I thought combining them with a circus theme would make the whole thing even better. So that’s how “Dino Circus” came about. And any time I get to use the bright beachy colors I love it’s a major plus, so I was glad they worked well with the fun vibe of this image.

Got mine in the mail the other day. My first Ript shirt. I only have one comment about Ript. If only you guys could make prints on shirts like Tank Theory. IMO they have the best printing process of any shirt site I buy from. I don’t know what they do but you don’t feel the ink at all, it’s like it doesn’t exist. And the colors they produce, oh my.
I do love the design though, just wish the colors were a little closer to the original art though.
