Atomic Sketch Event is a monthly live art event entering its third year of awesome nights of art-making and drink-drinking. Atomic Sketch happens monthly at evilOlive Nightclub at 1551 w. Division from 6-10 pm.
Each month a panel of established and emerging artists from Chicago – and even visiting artists from around the country – is selected to create original works of art live at the event. These pieces then hang on the walls and sell for extremely affordable prices. Artists whose work priced in the hundreds of dollars often sell work for $10 or $20! This format allows artists a great community to network in and art enthusiasts a great way to score real art for affordable prices.
In addition to the panel of artists, a featured artist or artist group is selected for a 2-month-long show that hangs in the evilOlive gallery.
Artists do not need to be on the panel to participate at the Atomic Sketch Event. Artists are encouraged to bring their own supplies and sketch and hang their work to sell. Atomic Sketch Event takes no commission on work sold that is created at the event.

Don’t know if the commentary today is written by RIPT or by the artist but both the comments and the tee promote an event with the same name as the artist’s. I trust that the event is worth all the promo. It looks like a very cool, worthy happening. Thanks for the design and the info!

Just to clarify, CHema Skndl! re-designed the Atomic Sketch logo for us for our 2 year anniversary. He’s a great sport and a great artist. Thanks, CHema! Also thanks to RIPT, for such great support over this passed year.
