I grew up in Iowa. After finishing a graphic design degree from ISU I moved to Chicago to start my career – The winds blew me toward coding and web design.. However I have always enjoyed illustrating.
About owls…
I’ve thought a lot about owls and have never been able to decide what they mean to me. They’re kinda freaky creatures, but in some way kind, cute and gentle.
Some famous owls to think about:
Owl (Winnie the Pooh’s owl friend),
Woodsy Owl (Give a Hoot, Don’t Pollute)
Mr. Owl (How many licks does it take -who gave Lil’ Kim great lyrics for her song.)

I love the way the owl looks, and the what seems to be polka-dots behind the owl. The black really makes the design stick out.
