Nick is considered a surrealist, a eclectic visionary, and a promoter of urban culture and movements. His comprehensive body of paintings can be found in galleries across the US and in private collections abroad. His designs are being worn, skated, surfed, and indelibly etched into the minds of global underground culture.
Thunder Bird is my attempt at creating a contemporary and highly stylized version of the fire bird aka phoenix. Going back to some origins of the mythological creature it seemed proper to reflect a design similar to that of a Native American totem. The only element lacking would be fire, but it is more than made up for in the intricacies of the ‘inner elements’ within the bird design.
BeeryMethod is currently based in Seattle, making a strong progressive mark on the face of the Pacific Northwest. When not working on graphics, products, and creative marketing he resides in the studio painting and producing some of the most mind-bending imagery known to man. His work runs the gamut from curvy and sexy female portraiture to otherworldly strangely alien landscapes and characters. Collaboration with fellow artists and creatives sparks the fire that burns deep in his eclectic soul.
