Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Blue Island, IL but currently reside in Chicago.
What inspired you to become an artist?
In the second grade I decided to draw my own name tag to place in front of my desk. My classmates noticed that I had a sight talent for drawing and coloring. It was not long before the entire second grade kids class wanted their name tags illustrated as well. I started charging them a dollar a name tag and soon realized what I wanted to be when I grew up.
Who are some of your favorite artists?
In no particular order, Stefan Bucher, Mike Perry and Damien Correll. Their work isn’t strictly computer generated and they like to add a little bit of the human touch. These guys are awesome.
Tell us about your shirt?
There is much more to this city than just the Hancock or the Sears Tower. I want to show people a different side of Chicago. I love this city and decided to named the piece after a very important person in my life.
