Hi, I’m Tidsfordriv, a graphic designer from Copenhagen, Denmark.
For as long I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with art. With shapes, lines and curves, colours, gradients and lighting – all part of the endless possibilities in the world of artwork, all available at your finger tips.
I specialize in artwork, photomanipulation and graphic design and layout, but also do illustration work on occasion. I like to explore and break down boundaries in my work. Exploring collisions of raw emotion and logic, of beauty and darkness, of fear and hope. But I also have a weakness for the simple and quirky. Making something that is both simple and complex at once is the hardest task a designer can face – and one of the most satisfying to complete!

Goddamn that is brilliant.

Thanks Scotty!
Really stoked to have this printed by the great guys here at RIPT! The concept is something that I’ve been thinking about for quite awhile and I really wanted to keep the execution minimalistic, yet appealing.
If you guys think it’s nice, funny, good, quirky, sexy or just a great gift for your that special somebody, please pick one up! Thanks!

I guess im not seeing it, would someone be so kind as to break down the picture for me?

Cool work mate..

@Ninjafrost: Can you be more specific? The image depicts a large penny-farthing bicyle (an old type of bike with a large front wheel). The front wheel is the earth and the rear wheel is the moon. The bike is floating in space surrounded by thumbtacks, that can potentially puncture the wheels. It’s a metaphor for how fragile our plant really is, shifting through space surrounded by stars, meteors and the likes.
@starryeyez: Thanks, means a lot mate :)

i’m guessing the use of fragile isn’t just a coincidence that it’s similar to the yes album cover?
tidsfordriv
@Ben: Wish I could say that there was indeed a clever hidden reference to that particular Yes album, but have never seen that cover before I just googled it now :)
That would be a coincidence – great artwork though!

That’s terrific! Great job. Nice catch, ripters.

love it. didn’t get the thumbtacks at first, but after reading tidsfordriv’s explanation it makes complete sense.
