-What inspired you to become an artist?
When I was in fifth grade and home with the chicken pox, my only entertainment was a box of crayola markers, some computer paper, and Marvel Series II trading cards. After copying probably the whole set, I was hooked on art. Plus it beats getting a real job.

-Who are some of your favorite artists?
Hmm there’s so many. Some deceased artists that I admire are Van Gogh, Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Heinrich Kley, Jim Henson, M.C. Escher, Osamu Tezuka, John Buscema and many more.
Contemporary artists I admire are James Jean, Jason Munn, Tyler Stout, Ralph Steadman, Hydro74, Paul Pope, Todd Schorr, Tomer Hanuka, Yoshitaka Amano, Frank Miller, and so so many more.

-Tell us about your shirt?
This started out as sketch, and was promising enough I decided to finish it off it and develop it for a shirt. It seemed to be a very strong, striking image that people might like to wear on their chest. At the very least you should get some stares back….

I have to disagree with the bloodshot comment, it’s pretty nice the way it is. Bloodshot would be it even more gruesome. :-)
