I’m a part time designer from Frome, Somerset in the South West of the UK…and when I say part time I mean for a few hours a week when I’m not doing my actual day job.
I’ve only been designing for a few months but when I’m not creating artwork I enjoy listening to music, playing the guitar, going to gigs and watching films, and if anyone wants to see any of my other work feel free to head over to my Tumblr page.
Originally this design was supposed to be a mash up of the computer games Left 4 Dead and Portal (called Left 4 Portal) but because the zombie is a bit too generic I decided to rename it and it’s now a Zombie / Portal mash up.

Rargh. I love both zombies (particularly L4D and Portal) but I’m just not sure about this. If the zombie was more clearly a zombie or even if it had the “In case of zombies, use portals” subtitle, it’d be an insta buy.

I did think about making the Zombie a bit more obvious but I didn’t want to change it’s colour or take too many chunks / pieces off of it. and if anyone doesn’t quite get the design it’s in the style of a Fire Exit sign with the title being a play on the other fire sign you might see around buildings ‘In Case Of Fire Use Stairs’ :)
Oh and by the way if you do feel like following me on my Tumblr page ( byway.tumblr.com ) you might just get to hear about another design of mine that might be printed in the near future :P
