I am originally from Ciudad Victoria (Mexico) but have lived in Dallas, TX for over 10 years now.
Since I was a kid I’ve been doodling and messing around with different art mediums. I fell seriously in love with graphic design when I took my first Illustrator class back in 2003 and been at it since then. Also, growing up in such a colorful culture (dude, my mom had each room of our house painted in bright bright colors… my room being almost magenta, just imagine that!) really helped me bring those elements into my sweet swirly artwork.
Fav artists are Jeremyville, Jon Burgerman, Tim Biskup, Monsieur G (from France), Piktorama (from Venezuela I think) and recently added Wotto and Niark to the list.
This t-shirt was inspired by one of my favorite pastimes: drinking Chai tea. Nothing helps my creativity flow like sipping on some tea and chilling. I started drawing the cute tea cup, the playful tea-bags (my favorite is the one that’s about to dive in) and the spooked tea spoons. So much fun!

Thanks! Glad you like! This is my favorite design I’ve done so far (partly because I loooove tea).
@Andrew: the worms can be anything really, the real idea behind it is that one of the things that relax me is sipping on a cup of tea, thus the tea transforming into a little bit of happiness for me (hence the happy spirits). It’s a personal touch I wanted to add to my artwork, plus you can see the these happy characters everywhere in my artwork.

The design really caught my eye as soon as the page loaded. Although the blue and orange tones aren’t all that bright, the cream-colored tee really brings them out.
