I am graphic designer and illustrator living in Nashville, TN with my husband and 2 dogs. I grew up in NY and went to school at the University of the Arts in Philly.
While I was there, I was really influenced by skate and street art. My design style is very clean and typically uses bright, flat colors. It looks like a silkscreen, but it’s just layers of acrylic paint.
It takes time and patience and is more complex than people think. I often remind people that there is complexity in simplicity. Restraint can be difficult, and I am always looking at the layout and colors for each piece. I love using geometric shapes to create something new and fun.
I have had shows in Nashville, Knoxville, NY, Philadelphia and Birmingham. I am currently doing freelance work and working on new paintings and tees.
