Joycer was raised by feral hamsters in the forests of Northern Michigan between the years of 1987 and 2005, at which point she decided to migrate to the Big City to find her Way In The World. She became literate, and obsessed with anthropomorphic robots, shortly thereafter, but continues to attempt to communicate using primarily primitive pictorial language she refers to as “illustrations” and/or “comics.” These attempts at communication can be found cataloged on her doodle blog, Teeny Robots. Her more complex attempts at pictorial storytelling are collected in her two mini-comics, entitled Bird Wizards! 1 & 2 respectively. These are available in her etsy store.
Currently, some of Joycer’s favorite artists are David Foster Wallace, Lynda Barry, Liz Prince, and Aubrey Beardsley. She is also somewhat obsessed with Wagner right now (or rather, adaptations/interpretations of Wagner’s “Ring” operas). This list tends to change from week to week.

I Love it! And I love your teenyrobots site as well. And I have a special empathy for feral hamsters since I released my hamster to the woods when I was a lad. I thought that I was doing the little critter a favor. Until tonight, I wasn’t sure. Thanks Joyser!
