I was a huge TMNT fan as a kid, even watched the original movie last night in preparation for the shirt. I don’t know how I managed to mess up the fingers thing. By the time I caught my error I had already submitted the design. It has been fixed on my own design. Thanks for all the positive comments though.
I think Ript should allow you to send them the new design and print that one, if it isn’t too late. Great design, probably the first on Ript that I truly like.
I would have bought 3 of these and a hoodie of it… 2 for my best friends and one plus a hoodie for me.
I decided the shirt symbolizes Raphael taking down Leo and claiming his spot as the leader. He holds Sai as that is his primary weapon of battle and the katana are symbolic which he wears on his back. Not to mention the fact he is all alone there implies it is the loner Raphael who is known to go off and fight crime by himself.
Oops. I would have bought them, BUT the 3 fingers thing bothers me too much and I don’t feel like wearing a hoodie/shirt that everyone points out has one too many fingers. riptapparel should let it be fixed or do this shirt again but corrected. Maybe corrected and very minimal color put in.
Haha, there seems to be a lot of people worried about the number of fingers on here. I wish I would have gotten it right the first time. Thanks to everyone that has given support either way.
Wonderful design, too bad about the fingers-thing though – and quite a bit brighter eyes (not white, but a much brighter grey) would have made the picture really pop. It’s still a really good design though – bought it after giving it some time to grow on me. :)

As for the story the picture tells: I’m with mobster.reno on this one. Leo has both his Ninjatō on his back, holding both Raphael’s Sai in his hands because he was forced to take action against Raph’s on-going one-man-activities. I don’t think Raph would let that keep him though, so Leo is on his own and Raph is off fighting crime by himself again – without his signature-weapon, ’cause he’ll be all the more angry now and certainly will find some criminals to blow off some steam, hehe… :D
Grew-up in Iowa, graduated from Iowa State, and currently work for the US Army. This is my first design but hope to get some more submitted in the future.

I’m aware that this is the WORST reasoning ever, but I can’t buy this shirt, because it looks like he has three fingers on each hand instead of two.
