Beetle Borgs? If so it’s awesome to see! I loved that show as a kid! However I’m ashamed to have liked it so I’m not buying this shirt on the off chance it is Beetle Borgs. Great design though!
I think the color scheme is playing off of Beetleborgs Metallix (Chromium Gold, Titanium SIlver, Platinum Purple). Would of loved a Blue-Green-Red color scheme..

It was the coming of the Insecticons – an infestation on a biblical scale. Nothing could prepare them for the destruction that rained down. Even local news anchor Kent Brockman pledged his allegiance to them, knowing surrender might be the only hope for survival.
Oh cool! I loved the Insecticons! They were one of the fFirst sets of transformers, before it started to become a rip-off of Voltron and every dood was in some set.
