What inspired you to become an artist?
Comic books. Been pretty much obsessed with them since before I can remember.
Who are some of your favorite artists?
Chris Bachalo, John Romita Jr, Stuart Immonen, John Byrne, and Terry Dodson…those are just a few who have influenced me. There are really too many to name.
Tell us about your shirt?
I’ve always been a huge Marvel and Star Wars fan. One day I was looking at some comics while the movie played in the background and just got a sudden burst of inspiration. Thus, Iron Droid was born!

Tom – I actually have a War2D2 design in the works as well. This design was actually envisioned as first in a series…maybe if I get lucky we will see a couple more Superhero Star Wars shirts on RIPT. Keep your fingers crossed!
