Slater: the tape monster was featured on threadless, n the art looked WAY too similar,almost twins. So for the respect of the artist, they took it down.

As someone who makes vg sprites all the time I would say it could have done without the line from the ear to Mario’s right hand but it’s a really wearable design and great Mario/Sonic mash up.

I spent numerous hours playing Mario Bros. (1,2,3) and Sonic 2. This is a great mix for me so I’m buying my second ript apparel shirt this weak ;)

Anyone purchase a hoodie from RIPT? What is your experience? How is the quality? Will the hood hang over the artwork?

@remy. I can’t speak to the print quality on their hoodies (assume it’s as good as their shirts, which is excellent for the few I’ve bought), but as a screenprinter myself I can vouch for the quality of the hoody. Its an American Apparel F497, very high quality, and is insanely soft.

Also worth mentioning, RIPT charges $8 LESS than American Apparel would charge you for the same exact hoody w/out any print. Solid deal imo.

Cool shirt but I never bought a riptappearel shirt before. If i’m a large size shirt should I get an xl or do they not shrink?

I use to play Sonic with my grandpa all the time before he passed he’s the one who got me into video games to begin with and as soon as N64 came out I was all over Mario even before then..I may just get it!…Got It!

Jose – if you wear a large, get a large. from my experience, i can tell you they don’t run small.

I ordered the Sonic Suit shirt, but I have a question about the size…

Will it shrink? I wear Mediums, so I ordered a large just in case. And, if it doesn’t shrink the first time I wash it, what are some ways I could get it down to the slightly smaller size?
