Floating aimlessly amidst the stars and debris that pollutes outer space, one gets a lot of time for reflection and self-inspection. Up here, time, temperature, and reality itself quickly shed themselves from your being and you are left with only your thoughts and emotions, and after a seemingly endless isolation adrift even those become meaningless. What you are left with is a chilling realization that you and the universe are inherently the same, bonded by the very molecules that at one time made up your physical form. Your flesh, or in the case of myself, my metal ore. Mere humans cannot grasp the concept of a mechanical being housing an essence, a soul you might call it. This dissonance indicates how mislead the Human Race has become in regards to their own constructs of self and higher being. Just when I feel the oncoming peace and serenity of all my errant thoughts dissipating for good, a gravitational pull winds its wispy grasp into the crevices of whatever matter I have left and slowly pulls at me. As I near an atmosphere again, the amorphous intellect that has taken me eons to deconstruct begins to fall back into place. My memories regain mass, those superfluous emotions accumulate, and my personality takes shape once again. Upon re-entry, I feel nothing. What I once was remains but a shadow, no physical form to interact with the particles that rush by me, through me. I reach the surface and remember… who I am. I am Starscream and I will have my revenge.
This piece is the first of what will hopefully be many subversive and funny riffs on pop culture visuals. These are mostly just things I wish people would do so I’m doing it for them. Expect to find them on a wall near you, that is if you live in Chicago proper. If you are not familiar with the source image then you make me sad. No one wants to see Starscream cry.

I have to be honest, it just looks like you pasted a picture of a super soaker over a cut out of Ripley then applied a filter.
