Artist Bio

I’m Sonja, a graphic designer and illustrator from Bremen in the north of Germany. I am currently working in a small agency mainly designing packaging and some advertisements for food companies.

I try to focus more on illustration and hope to be able to do more apparel/poster design in the future and maybe take some commissions. So contact me if you like ;)

The design was an aim to take a twist on a classic dragon illustration with the idea to create a dragon that combines several elements. I chose the typical ones such as fire, wind, water and earth but also knowledge/intellect, which are all united into it.
It looks fierce and serious at first sight, but at second glance you’ll notice some humorous elements like a knot in his beard, the thick rimmed glasses or the snot on the nose.
