Wish I could say I live some extravagant life. I really don’t though. I’m just a normal college drop out that spends his day drawing in his underwear until it’s socially acceptable to start drinking… and I usually start much before that.
I was born in Normal, IL. pretty sweet town to grow up in. From there I have moved all over the place from living in a van, to moving to Tampa to screen print tee shirts with Jimmy Heartcore, and now I live in Chicago working odd jobs at Threadless and trying to get back into design work.

Skeletons AND Ganja? who could ask for anything more :)
[Reply]
I almost clicked buy until I looked up what ganja meant..great design but why did they have to ruin it with drugs? lame
[Reply]
drugz are lame!!!
[Reply]
Dirt weed drugs are lame. If you were gonna do a weed-themed shirt, at least make the buds look better.
[Reply]
weak. Can’t believe RIPT is selling a High Times – themed shirt.
[Reply]
Flowers, Good Medicine.

Puffy skeletons with parts missing and a very skimpy, pathetic canabis plant? Do I have that right? Maybe Cole B. is the bosses favorite cousin or something. Did people really vote this in?
Let me know when the design is finished, please. Break time’s over and you’ve got a ways to go. And ya’ better pass me the pipe. Somebody’s gotten too ript in teeville.

Looks to me the Skeletons are going to eat the Ganja…
[Reply]
the awesomeness of Ript has decreased a bit with this shirt being sold
[Reply]
I agree, the skeletons were good alone. IF it was just them, i would probably buy it. Drugs pretty much ruin it.
[Reply]
congrats… those boner-stoners look pretty happy!
[Reply]
lmao at “drugs” – I have a feeling you people are all under 18 and still D.A.R.E. brainwashed..
I like this tee, it’s cute.
[Reply]
Not wanting a t-shirt having to do with drugs doesn’t make someone “brainwashed.” I’m no 18 year old and despite liking the design of the shirt, the drug reference really ruins it for me. :/
[Reply]
just because a government declares a plant illegal doesn’t mean it is a drug. it is just a plant that happens to have effects if you light it on fire.
[Reply]
Glad to see some discussion today. Cole will be on I Am The Trend tv tonight! Be sure to watch and let him know what you though to today’s tee!
[Reply]
I think it’s stupid that everyone is hating on this shirt because it shows some marijuana. Personally I think this shirt is awesome and can’t wait to get it. :]
[Reply]
Wow all these lame little kids saying how “Drugs” are bad. They aren’t good for you but they definetly make this shirt funnier. Plus who doesn’t know what Ganja is, losers.
[Reply]
Those of us that do not like this shirt are merely giving our personal opinions, which in turn helps the shirt designers know what kind of things are going to sell the most. If you like the shirt and wish to buy it have at, but it doesn’t look like this is going to be one of the ones on the “best of 2010″ shirt list at the end of the year. Also definitely NOT a brainwashed 18 year old.
[Reply]
Great design. Last time I checked, RIPT t shirts are not main stream and every once in a while they prove it by featuring a design such as this. I think if this design featured other drugs like alcohol or caffeine, there wouldn’t of been so many negative reactions. Its kind of sad that the legality of the objects featured on a design have made people feel the need to bash the design. I bet this t-shirt sells as well as any other if not better. Good work keep it up!
[Reply]
hahah your opinion isnt going to make me change my subject matters or style. its just meant to be a funny shirt. take the meaning whatever you want.
[Reply]
Ok well maybe brainwashed 18 year old was too specific for some of you. Sheltered and inexperienced at life perhaps? Unliked in social situations that don’t involve church? Maybe that will cover it a little better. Just sayin. I can’t believe how controversial this is, what year is it again? Geez.
[Reply]
I find it hilarious any time someone who uses drugs then calls someone who does not “brainwashed”. As if drugs don’t alter the mind.
Still, for me, the plant is not the issue here, especially since it’s not the most obvious representation of marijuana that could have been used. I’m anti-drug, but would have considered the piece anyway if it just looked more complete. The style is fun, but feels woefully unpolished. As if, to paraphrase Afroman, the artist was gonna finish this design, but then he got high. La da da, da da da.
[Reply]
I don’t use drugs, Adder, you’re making an assumption.
[Reply]
I’m buying one just to spite these DARE douchewaffles
[Reply]
Well put, Dave!
And “DARE douchewaffles” makes me giggle..
[Reply]
I have RT @ Twitter & share on FB .. cute shirt!
[Reply]
I’m actually a fan of the design, I think it looks great, but the fact that marijuana is involved turns me off. I don’t do any form of drugs, and yes, weed is a drug, that’s why it’s illegal. I understand some people like to smoke, even love to smoke, but if weed wasn’t unhealthy it wouldn’t be banned.
So, yeah, it’s a dope tee, but me being against drugs the way I am, I can’t wear this tee.

[Reply]
JMayle – You think only illegal substances are drugs? And the things that hurt us are all illegal? HA!
As a side note, I’m not sure why I’ve made myself the pot advocate of the day, but whatevs.
[Reply]
this turned into high school debate club! its just a stinkin shirt. love it or hate it. big whoop.
[Reply]
The only thing I have a problem with this shirt is where is middle-left skeleton’s right leg? and what happened to the legs of the front skeleton? Was it too hard to add maybe 5-6 lines to the artwork judging by the quality of the shirt?
[Reply]
You’re right Cole, but it’s so much more fun to bitch at each other! ;)
I like the shirt because the skellies look so cheerful!
[Reply]
yeah but the’re all right. version two is gonna be the skeletons doing lines of blow off a hooker. maybe that will stir things up a bit.
[Reply]
wow you guys are so ignorant, how about trying something before judging it or buying into all that stupid fucking propaganda
[Reply]
Nothing says classy like wearing a cole blotcky tee!
[Reply]
This t shirt design sums up how it feels to see some amazing weed. Sometimes it looks and smells so good that you just want to jump out of your skin with your friends and eat it.
Ganja chills people out, relieves pain.
Pills make people ill, and their insides weakened.
Alcohol tends to make people over-confident and angry.
And being a douchewaffle tends to make people not like you. Especially if you are very close-minded.
Choc! Choc! Choc!

Bunch of squares on this site
[Reply]
Drugs or not, it’s a rad design. If you don’t like it, that’s fine. Stop freaking out about it. My suggestion? Pack a bowl and chillll out! Keep up the good work, Cole!
[Reply]
i like the design.
on another note, if you somehow include douchewaffle in your hooker shirt, it’l be a classic
[Reply]
Not a smoker myself but can definitely appreciate the design!
[Reply]
Wow this might be a new comment record
[Reply]
I believe it is, Paul
[Reply]
McDonalds is unhealthy…and legal! Next time, Cole, make skeletons with fries. duh. Munchies.
[Reply]
Not quite my style but love the Day of the Dead feel the skeletons have. Keep up the good work.

Being from Amsterdam, Holland I am always amazed at the drug hungry foreigners coming here.
Cannabis is legal in Holland and it is mainly smoked by adolescents, tourists [Italians, French and Americans top the list] and old hippies.
Drugs make you slow, uncreative and sloppy. Never saw a positive effect, unless falling asleep and less aggression count…
My suggestion: legalize drugs in the world, so the main attraction: ” By smoking I’m doing something illegal and doing it shows my hatred of anything authority-related and my bond with everything alternative & cutting edge” will be gone and we can all go back to being creative and productive..
Drugs are for losers.
As for the shirt: I like the colors and the design, but this drug-related theme make it a bit too immature and childish. so no…
[Reply]
Really? Weed lame? you guys are dumbasses to be rippin on a nice design. There is nothing wrong with god’s gift. Whiny little bitches. Sure it might be smoked by adolescents, tourists etc, but crawl out of your hole Henk. It’s no worse than alcohol. It doesn’t affect everyone the same way.
Nice shirt Cole.
