I hail from Indiana and I create websites by day and design t-shirts by night.
I’ve been artistic all my life and t-shirt design has been such a fun outlet for me lately. My wife has been such a big help with my design work, so I have to give her major props for her support.
This lonely tree finally got fed up with all of the pollution of the city, so he packed up all his worldly possessions and headed for the country. You’d be well advised to stay out of his way.

I loved this design since the moment I saw it. It is so clever and hilarious! Nice work Chris! Thanks for letting us print it!

Shouldn’t you be in bed, TJ? :-) Hope all is well on your end!

@Swiggz – Indeed a great shirt, and yeah, I’m hitting the hay as they say

“Make like a tree, and get outta here!”

This is an awesome shirt, but the $27.90 shipping (cheapest) to Australia kind of hurts — a real shame too.

@Paul (guest): Perhaps you can get a friend from the states to ship it to you cheaper? I’ve purchased shirts in the past for friends and then when I have a few snagged for them, I send in bulk and save on shipping. It may take longer to get your tees, but it saves you money.

Maybe something actually IS off about our shipping because I have friends from Australia that have purchased and would never have done it if the price was that high…
We’ll continue to look into this.

Thanks Ript! You guys are a great bunch. Really easy to work with and very responsive.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I’ve wanted this design to print for quite a long time.

I’m going to look into to solving our international shipping costs. I’ll let you know when I’ve got it fixed! Thanks for the heads up and support!

This shirt is great and I love your style of illustration.
I can’t help but wonder, what do trees take in their suitcases….and what relative of his was used to make the suitcase?

I love it. I don’t think there’s a better shirt to wear while riding my bike past cars stuck in downtown traffic! I’m ordering right now.

Great concept for this design! I love the message behind it although I so wish our trees would stay inside of our urban areas. :) Would love to know more about the relationship between your Tshirt design and your website design; does one help inspire the other?

its a really fantastic tee
but i unfortunately live in England and the price is far too much
the tshirt is a great price but i’ve never know shipping to be that expensive from any site
[Reply]

@JCW, Toys, Clare, Kathryn, Bryan: Thanks, I’m glad you like it!
@Slain: Wow, I’d never seen that shirt. It’s awesome though. Thanks for posting it.

@Paul
The alternative shipping options available to me sounded a bit off too, UPS was $92.80 and FedEx was $78.00 — having done quite a bit with FedEx at this end over the years, something as light as a t-shirt wouldn’t cost me that much to ship in the reverse direction (from Melbourne, Australia to Chicago USA).

@Paul, @Matt:
Now that I have made an account, I get the ” USPS: First Class International (Residential) ” option for shipping, which costs $7.50, as opposed to $27.90.
That option didn’t appear (obviously) when I was only logged in as a guest — maybe it should though?
Or did you guys change something at your end, in which case — thanks for letting me purchase a killer shirt at a decent price just before the deadline :)
[Reply]
The payment area is not tied to the user accounts so that shouldn’t have mattered. I’m glad you were able to get the correct shipping price though and look at tomorrow’s shirt! HERE IT COMES!
[Reply]
Damn! i really wanted this shirt!
(no offence to todays one though)
at least i’ll know next time
[Reply]
Now its a total of £10.38 instead of the £25 when i didnt have an account
thats much better
but what a dissapointment i didnt get there sooner :(
