What kind of garments do you print on?
RIPT Apparel tee shirts are made from 100% combined ring-spun cotton. They are a very high quality, light weight, t shirt. Many think they’re softer than American Apparel tees.
Our hoodies are screen printed on American Apparel F497 Flex Fleece Hoodies. They are a high-quality medium weight hoodie with white pull strings and a metal zipper.
Our baby onesies are printed on super-soft 100% cotton Bella 100 Onesies.
Our toddlers tees are printed on 100% cotton ribbed crew neck Rabbit Skin tees.
We carry two different kinds of kids’ size tees, one for girls and one for boys. Girls kid sizes are printed on super soft 100% cotten Bella girls tees. Boys kid sizes are printed on 100% cotton Gildan Ultra Cotton youth tees.
How much do your items cost?
RIPT Apparel shirts are priced at $10.
Hoodies are priced at $38.
Toddler and Kid-sized tees are priced at $15.
Baby onesies are priced at $18.
Do your shirts shrink?
RIPT Apparel shirts are labeled preshrunk. The t shirts will shrink when drying though. We recommend air/hang drying all RIPT Apparel tees.
Washing tips?
We recommend that shirts be washed inside out (especially for the first wash) to avoid any harmful interaction with the inks during the washing and drying process. Baby, toddler, and kid shirts should be washed before their initial wearing due to any possible residue left from the printing process.

Tell me about your hoodies.
After much deliberation, we at RIPT Apparel decided that the best course of action for selling limited edition artist designed hoodies would be to offer a high-quality garment with a full un-altered print on the back of the tee. A small RIPT ‘R’ logo is screen printed on the front left breast of the sweatshirt in an ink color exclusive to each design. Pretty snazzy huh? The hoodies are priced at $38 and are printed on a super comfortable American Apparel Flex Fleece hoodie sweatshirt. A blank hoodie would cost you over $45 at retail so this is definitely an awesome deal that should be taken advantage of while it can!
Tell me about your childrens garments.
RIPT Apparel has truly grown into its namesake with the addition of baby onesies, toddler sized tees and kids sizes for boys and girls. These new garments have rounded out the RIPT Apparel product line to be closer to the original vision of RIPT’s founders. Each childrens garment is printed on a 100% cotton stock from brand-name companies like Bella, Gildan, and Rabbit Skin. The design printed on each of these smaller garments will be proportionately shrunk to fit the size of the garment. All childrens garments will be printed using a state of the art Direct To Garment printing technique. All designs on childrens sizes will be printed on the front of the garment.
Will my shirt look exactly like what appears on your website?
Screen-printing our shirts is a delicate process with a lot of variables. What you see on the website is a digital approximation of what you will see on your printed shirts. We do our best to keep what’s on our site in sync with what you receive, but we cannot guarantee colors of garment or print to be exactly what you see online. That being said, there will be a reasonable range of variation between colors, size, and placement between what you see on the screen and what you see on your shirt. You won’t expect an ink print to be red and have it show up blue.
Who prints your shirts and hoodies?
All daily RIPT Apparel tees and hoodies are printed in-house at the RIPT Apparel compound in the heart of beautiful downtown Chicago. We do our best to print each RIPT tee and hoodie with loads of love and with the speed of a 1000 unicorns to get a high-quality product to your door as fast as inhumanly possible.
We utilize traditional screen printing techniques and prints on manual and automatic presses. These guys are seriously awesome and if you need help with a print job, they come with the RIPT Apparel seal of approval!

Why do you only sell one shirt a day for only 24 hours?
Our one-a-day sales model is an exciting opportunity to promote discovery of new artists while also creating potential collector’s items that customers can wear with pride. There’s nothing quite like being there at the start of a great artist’s career.
What time do new shirts get posted and when do old ones expire?
At 12 Midnight CST (central standard time) the current shirt for sale expires and a new shirt becomes available.
How many can I purchase?
Customers may purchase as many sizes and quantities as they wish from RIPT Apparel. There is not a purchase limit at this time. If you order different styles of garment in the same order, you may not receive them all in the same shipment. For instance, if you order a baby onesie, a hat, and a hoodie sweatshirt they will be shipped at different times, from different locations.
When do I get my shirt after purchasing?
Each RIPT Apparel order is shipped within 1-2 weeks. On rare occasions, orders may take more than 1-2 weeks due to higher than expected sales. We use US Postal service first class mail so time of delivery is dependent on your location. Our shipments come out of the Midwest so shipments sent to the coasts and countries outside the U.S. will take the longest to reach you from our warehouse.
Please be aware that your shirt has not been printed until after it’s full sales-cycle has been completed. Shipping via priority mail will not get your shirt printed any faster than the others.

How do you choose artists? How do I submit a design? How do artists get paid?
Artists and designers can submit their designs through our online artist agreement. If selected, the artist will be paid $1 for every garment sold that day.
How can I pay for my shirt?
We currently accept major credit cards (Discover, Visa & Mastercard).
We also accept Paypal. International customers are required to pay via Paypal. Even if you don’t have an account, you may still pay via your credit card through Paypal.

How do you handle returns and refunds?
We will only accept returns and offer refunds if the shirt is somehow damaged, torn or ripped. If this is the case, due to the extreme rarity of our product we may not be able to ship you the same shirt you ordered therefore would issue you credit towards a new shirt.
How do you differ from your competition?
RIPT Apparel sets itself apart by employing a wide array of artistic talent that much of the world (online and offline) has yet to experience and enjoy. What better way to support a new movement or artistic style than by wearing it for the whole world to see? We will always strive to be the most artist-friendly online shirt retailer available. We are currently the only design-per-day shirt retailer to offer an expanded selection of garments such as hoodies, baby clothes, and kids sizes.
Do artists retain the rights to their artwork?
Yes. Artists retain all rights to their artwork and may print it elsewhere. However, RIPT Apparel does retain the right to display the artwork on its website indefinitely. Artists’ artwork may be used in future promotional materials by RIPT Apparel. The artist may do whatever they wish with their design after it’s day of sale at RIPT, including sell it to another t-shirt site.
How many shirts are printed per design?
Each unique RIPT Apparel shirt is printed in a different quantity dependent on the number of orders it receives. After a specifc shirt’s 24-hour lifespan, it will not be reprinted in its original form again. Ever.

Do you reprint shirts?
Once a shirt has out-lived its 24-hours life cycle, it finally is laid to Rest In Peace within our Shirt Graveyard. There they will rest forever, but sometimes on a full moon, strange rumblings have been heard stirring within the cemetery gates…
What sizes do you have, do you do double XL?
RIPT Apparel shirts come in S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL for Men and S, M, L, XL for women. 2XL and 3XL t-shirts are available only in Men’s Sizes and cost an extra $2.
